OPTIMAZATION OF the Velder WEBSHOP

Research Findings

The Problem

Customers needed to visit multiple pages to access different contact information or answers to their questions, making it harder to find everything in one place efficiently.

The Solution

I designed a single page layout so customers can easily find all contact options and key information in one place. The design is clear, consistent with the rest of the website, and guides customers on what to do if they have a question or want to contact Velder.

Providing actionable guidance on “what to do next” reduces frustration and supports task completion.

Design Process

Step 1

Low Fidelity Wireframe

Designed a single page overview of all contact sections, making navigation and content placement clear and easy to understand.

Step 2

Mid Fidelity Wireframe

The layout in the low fid was well received and considered intuitive for navigation and finding key elements. Based on this feedback i continued designing the mid fid wireframe.

Step 3

High Fidelity Wireframe

Instead of a large block under the FAQ, I created a link to keep the screen uncluttered, based on team feedback. I also added the Dutch term next to the FAQ title to ensure all webshop users would understand it. For the high-fidelity wireframe, I received feedback that the contact form appeared too dark and didn’t align with the rest of the page, which I adjusted in the final design.

All sections of the contact page are displayed on one page, making navigation simple and intuitive.

Replaced a large FAQ block with a link to keep the screen clean and prevent overwhelming users.

Added file upload functionality to handle user complaints efficiently and meet high demand.

Placed contact options above the form so users can quickly choose the method that best suits their needs.
